What is Retor?

Retor lets you turn video footage into interactive 3D experiences. Upload video, and Retor reconstructs the scene as a Gaussian splat. You then draw lines through the scene, place tags at points of interest, and configure how viewers navigate through the experience.

Core Concepts

  • ProjectsA project holds your reconstructed 3D scene, lines, tags, and all settings.
  • LinesPaths through your scene that define navigation. Includes scroll modes, autoplay, and styling.
  • TagsPoints of interest along a line. Each tag can have a name, description, color, icon, and more. Select multiple to batch-edit.
  • PreviewShare your experience as a link. Viewers scroll through lines and explore tags on any device.

Quick Start

  1. Create a project and upload your video footage
  2. Wait for the reconstruction to process
  3. Switch to the Line tool and click points in the scene to draw a path
  4. Name your tags and style them
  5. Configure scroll mode and autoplay on the line
  6. Share the preview link
