These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Retor (“the Platform”), operated by Bag of Marshmallows AB (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Sweden. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
By uploading Source Material to the Platform, you grant Bag of Marshmallows AB a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, and create derivative works from your Source Material for the purposes of:
This license survives deletion of your account or Source Material with respect to Generated Content already produced — see Section 7.
All Generated Content is owned by Bag of Marshmallows AB. We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, worldwide license to use, display, embed, and distribute the Generated Content for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the attribution and usage requirements in Section 6.
We reserve the right to use Generated Content for any purpose, including but not limited to improving the Platform, training models, research, and promotional materials.
When you share, embed, or distribute Generated Content, the following requirements apply:
Failure to comply with these attribution requirements constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, revocation of your license to the Generated Content, and legal action.
You may delete your Source Material at any time through the Platform. Upon deletion, we will remove the Source Material from active storage within a reasonable timeframe. Backup copies may persist for a limited period as part of standard infrastructure operations.
You may request full deletion of any project (including all associated Source Material and Generated Content) or your entire account and all its data by contacting us at legal@retor.io. Deletion requests are processed manually and will be completed within 30 days. Upon deletion, all Content — including Generated Content — will be permanently removed from our systems. Backup copies may persist for a limited period as part of standard infrastructure operations but will not be used or restored.
Until deletion is requested and completed, Bag of Marshmallows AB retains full ownership of all Generated Content as described in Section 5. We may use Generated Content for the purposes outlined in these Terms for as long as it remains on the Platform.
The Platform and all Generated Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We make no warranties or guarantees, express or implied, regarding:
The quality of Generated Content depends heavily on the quality of your Source Material. Factors such as video resolution, lighting conditions, motion blur, camera movement patterns, scene complexity, and input format can significantly affect results. Demonstrations and showcases on the Platform are indicative only — they represent what may be achieved with suitable input under favourable conditions, not a guarantee of what you will achieve.
You are solely responsible for the quality and suitability of your Source Material. We are not liable for unsatisfactory results caused by poor-quality input, incorrect camera motion, insufficient coverage, or any other factor attributable to the Source Material.
You agree not to:
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Bag of Marshmallows AB and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bag of Marshmallows AB from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your Source Material; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms or the attribution requirements in Section 6.
Upon termination, your license to use the Platform ceases immediately. Your license to distribute previously Generated Content survives termination, provided you continue to comply with the attribution requirements. We retain all rights to Generated Content as described in Section 5.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on the Platform with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
